Where a link can appear
A retailer button can appear only after the item identifier and evidence record are locked. The disclosure appears beside the button, not only in this policy. A link uses rel="sponsored" and opens the retailer’s site.
What a link cannot do
- Affiliate availability cannot make an item eligible for editorial review.
- Commission rate cannot affect selection, score, wording, rank, or placement.
- A missing affiliate destination cannot block publication.
- An unfavorable finding does not receive a purchase button.
Current product cohort
The transitional product cohort was originally assembled from trending products that had linkable listings. That selection bias is now disclosed on the product index. The cohort is not presented as representative or ranked, and new candidate selection occurs before link availability is checked.
Retailer data
When you follow a retailer link, that retailer processes the visit under its own privacy terms. The Review Group does not receive your full payment-card details from the retailer.
