Our scores and Worth-It / Skip-It verdicts are decided before any affiliate link is attached, from the evidence about a book — never from whether a purchase would earn us a commission. A book we love and a book we tell you to skip carry the exact same kind of link. We earn the same whether the verdict is positive or negative, so there is no incentive to inflate a score.
