365 Ways to Simplify Your Work Life

Odette Pollar was a working productivity consultant when she wrote this, and the tip-a-day format reflects that practical orientation — dip in anywhere, find something usable, move on. The advice covers clearing physical workspace, managing time, and reducing daily office friction, and it holds up reasonably well as common sense. The honest caveat is that this book is thirty years old and it shows. The workplace it describes — before remote work, before the inbox as the primary battleground, before smartphones — is a different environment. Readers who have already encountered Getting Things Done or any of the productivity classics published since 2000 will find much of this ground already covered with greater depth. A period piece more than a go-to reference today.
