A jilted-at-the-altar opening gives this one a strong hook, and the tight-knit Magdalena community carries a lot of the emotional weight. It's fairly familiar second-chance-romance territory, though, and most content specifics beyond the synopsis couldn't be verified. Don Warrick's narration is consistent with the rest of the later series, at least.
