Finance ✦ Penny’s Take
A General Theory of Entrepreneurship
Scott Andrew Shane · 2003
79/100
👍 Worth It
Shane set out to build a real unifying theory of entrepreneurship, and by most academic accounts he pulled it off — described as the first exhaustive theoretical treatment of the field in twenty years. It's dense, scholarly prose meant for researchers and doctoral students rather than a casual read, but if that's your lane it's a landmark.
