Four summer novellas with genuinely different flavors — mistaken pen-pal identity, a family-loyalty complication, a sister living in someone's shadow, and small-town devotion — give this collection more variety than most Amish anthologies. It's light, pleasant, and forgettable in the best beach-read sense. Devon O'Day narrates; without performance notes I can't say more than that the audio exists.
