In 1992 this slim student-oriented overview served a real library need, and C. Everett Koop's series introduction gave it appropriate credibility for its time. But diagnostic categories and treatment approaches for anxiety have shifted substantially in the three decades since, and the depth was always modest by design. There are far more current and thorough options available today for virtually every reader this book targets.
