Being Thankful
Mercer Mayer Β· 2014

Little Critter deals with plain old envy - sneakers, a boat, a bigger ice cream cone - until Grandma teaches him gratitude, wrapped up with the sweet 'thankful rock' he passes on to his sister. It's relatable and the lesson lands, even if the structure is formulaic like the rest of the Inspired Kids line. A solid, familiar pick, not a standout.
