This one earns its keep -- Jim Weiss is a genuine master storyteller, and this expanded 30th-anniversary edition covers real ground across the Old Testament without ever going preachy or dry. It won a homeschool literature award and it shows in the craft, even if 75 minutes means each figure gets more survey than deep-dive. Weiss narrates it himself, and that's the best reason to pick this one -- his voice is the whole show, and it's excellent.
