Business Research Methods
Now in its eighth edition, this Zikmund-led textbook walks undergraduate and graduate business students through the full research process — from problem definition through data collection, analysis, and reporting — with examples drawn from management, marketing, finance, and accounting. It is widely adopted in business school programs for good reason: the organization is clear, the end-of-chapter cases work well for classroom discussion, and the writing makes a dry subject as accessible as it can be. William Zikmund completed this edition shortly before his death, and instructors have long praised his ability to ground methodology in real business decision-making. The honest caveat is that later editions by new author teams may vary in quality, and the academic textbook format means little appeal outside of coursework. Within its context, a reliable standard text.
