The third book in Tracy Wolff's Crave series cranks up the supernatural stakes considerably — Grace is cursed, Jaxon is distant, and the Circle is fracturing over a coronation nobody wanted. Wolff's pacing is genuinely propulsive; plot twists land fast and the romantic tension between Grace and Hudson keeps pages turning. The world-building has real complexity by this point in the series, with vampire and gargoyle mythology woven into dark academic settings that fans clearly love. The content warning, however, is serious: Common Sense Media flags graphic violence including torn limbs and ripped-out hearts, sexual situations, and strong language. This is not family-reading territory and parents of younger teens should review carefully. For older YA paranormal fans, it delivers exactly what the series promises.
