Virginia is a perfectly ordinary teenager — except that she can conduct electricity through her body and has spent her whole life shadowed by Oogleeoog, an invisible mischievous gremlin whose main purpose appears to be hurling her into chaos. Michael Brennan's collected first four issues are warm, funny, and genuinely all-ages: the humor ranges from burnt toast to a dog bringing home a severed hand, always landing on the right side of playful rather than dark. Reviewers called it one of the easiest and most entertaining comics they had read in ages. The self-published origins mean availability can be limited, and the vignette structure means there is no overarching plot to pull you forward.
