Bonura does a decent job distinguishing ETFs from index funds and includes a robo-advisor chapter that was genuinely useful context for 2017, but the ETF world has evolved enough since then — fractional shares, direct indexing, fee compression — that a beginner today would be learning a slightly outdated landscape. It is not wrong, just incomplete in ways that matter for someone opening their first account right now. Aaron Michael's narration is competent but does not add special value to an aging entry-level guide.
