Körner's analytic framework for practical reasoning is a genuine scholarly contribution, and for the narrow audience of analytic philosophers or legal theorists it remains a serious reference. But it is also deeply dated relative to four decades of subsequent work in moral philosophy and metaethics, and the dossier offers no evidence that specialists still reach for it over more current treatments. A library acquisition, not a personal purchase, for almost everyone.
