Written by a derivatives banker who lived through it, this is one of the sharpest, clearest books out there on how finance spun out of control before 2008. It was longlisted for a major business book award, and reviewers point to some of the clearest risk explanations in the genre. Dense in spots, but genuinely worth the effort.
