Viale and colleagues bring a genuinely useful behavioral economics lens to financial literacy policy, and Edward Elgar's imprimatur means the scholarship is credible. The 328-page edited-volume format tends toward breadth over depth, and the dense academic prose is inaccessible to anyone outside the research or policy world. A solid addition to a specialist library, but not the book to hand someone who wants to understand their own financial decisions.
