A light beach romance with the familiar Sweet Valley Wakefield twins — fast, fun, and exactly what long-time fans of the franchise expect from a summer trilogy entry. Outside of that nostalgia circle, though, there is very little here: the plot is formula-driven, the characterization stays shallow, and a 1990s beach setting now feels distinctly dated. Worth a quick read if you grew up with these characters; easy to skip if you didn't.
