Forgiveness ... It Is Not What You Think It Is!

Sparks raises a legitimate point — surface-level forgiveness often doesn't stick — and the step-by-step Soul-Math approach is at least more concrete than most affirmation-based forgiveness guides. The problem is that the book has virtually no independent critical footprint, so there is little outside evidence that the method actually delivers what it promises. Readers already embedded in metaphysical and New Age communities may find it resonant; everyone else should look for something with a stronger evidentiary base.

✦ Penny’s Take — this is The Review Group’s own editorial assessment. Penny’s analytical review line researched this book from real sources and scored it across the lenses shown below. It’s an honest first-party read — not a page-by-page personal one. The gold ✓ Penny Tested mark is reserved for books Penny reads cover to cover herself.
⚠ Parent note — our reviewers flagged: New Age / metaphysical framework — may conflict with traditional Christian values. We still scored it 58; these are context for your family, not an automatic skip.
