A practical classroom resource from Corwin that teachers working in the early SEL movement found genuinely useful, built around a clear five-domain framework and ready-to-use activities. The main problem is age: published in 2001, its research base and terminology are now two decades behind current SEL science, and the limited critical record makes it hard to gauge how well it has held up. Educators would be better served by more recent SEL resources.
