Free Yourself From Yourself

Timothy Stewart · 2020

Stewart's twelve-step journey from homelessness and repeated failed rehabilitation to lasting recovery gives the book real emotional credibility — this is testimony, not theory, and readers in recovery communities have responded to it. The spiritual framework will resonate with faith-oriented recovery audiences, but the derivativeness of the twelve-principle structure relative to twelve-step programs is a fair question, and the absence of editorial peer review limits what can be said about execution quality. Meaningful for its intended recovery audience; limited outside of it.
