Sullivan's seven-element framework and his mediator background give this book a more practical shape than many Christian marriage guides, and the intent — serving couples at every stage — is genuinely broad and useful. The problem is that it is self-published through Xulon with no independent editorial vetting and no meaningful critical reception. The content may be excellent, but there is no external evidence to say so, and Christian marriage readers have many rigorously vetted options to turn to first.
