Two second-chance romance storylines in one Harlequin volume is a decent value proposition for genre fans, and the emotional beats are warm and earnest. But the dual structure means neither Jackson and Sarafina nor Asia and Trace get enough page time to fully breathe, and the thin critical paper trail makes it hard to gauge how well this stands up among even its Kimani contemporaries. Fine for devoted readers of the line, but not a standout.
