Self-help β¦ Penny’s Take π± Kindle
How to Live on 24 Hours a Day (A Classic Guide to Self-Improvement)
Arnold Bennett Β· 2013
78/100
π Worth It
This little 1910 essay basically invented the self-help genre, and it still holds up because the core idea is so simple: you already have the time, the question is what you do with your evenings. Some of the references feel like they're from another century, but the advice to build a modest, sustainable evening routine rather than overhauling your whole life is genuinely sound. A quick, worthwhile read if you like your self-improvement classic and unfussy.
