Introduction to Psychology

Dennis Coon · 1998

Coon's introductory psychology text was a genuine pedagogical achievement — integrating the SQ3R study method into a comprehensive survey of the field made it one of the best-selling textbooks in the category for good reason. But a 1998 eighth edition in a field that has shifted substantially since then is a significant liability; neuropsychology, trauma science, and diagnostic frameworks have all moved on. For a current student or curious general reader, a more recent textbook or edition will serve far better.
