Wonnacott and Wonnacott built a genuinely strong undergraduate statistics text — clear real-world examples, self-contained chapters, solid regression treatment — and it earned its long adoption in business schools. But the 1990 fourth edition is now a generation old: software references are obsolete, computing examples predate modern tools, and current alternatives cover the same ground with better currency.
