Keys to Estate Planning and Trusts

Barron's Business Keys was a genuinely useful series, and the 52-concept format made estate planning accessible to non-specialists — in 1993. Thirty-three years later, the federal estate tax exemption alone has shifted by millions of dollars, trust regulations have been restructured, and state probate codes have evolved substantially. The conceptual orientation (what is a trust, what is probate) holds up as background reading, but this is no longer a practical planning reference by any reasonable measure.
