A kid inheriting the Dallas Cowboys is a fun stretch of imagination, and I appreciated reviewers flagging it as clean with no bad language. The stepmother villain is pretty one-note and the plot needs some suspension of disbelief, but it moves fast and the message about earning your spot lands right.
