Self-help ✦ Penny’s Take
Learning Theories
Dale H. Schunk · 2012
80/100
👍 Worth It
Schunk's sixth edition is a genuine workhorse — comprehensive, research-grounded, and structured so graduate students can navigate it as both a course text and a reference they'll return to later. The cognitive-constructivist emphasis is a real strength for most ed-psych applications, even if social-emotional learning gets comparatively less space. Dense prose and academic pricing mean this is for its intended audience only, but for that audience it delivers.
