Self-help β¦ Penny’s Take
Lloyd-Jones on the Christian Life
Jason C. Meyer Β· 2018
82/100
π Worth It
Jason Meyer does something genuinely difficult here: he compresses one of the 20th century's most substantial Reformed preachers into an accessible, well-organized overview without flattening him. The coverage of Lloyd-Jones's theology β Trinity, sanctification, spiritual depression, eschatology β is thorough for the series format, and Sinclair Ferguson's foreword is a meaningful endorsement. Evangelical and Reformed readers will find this an excellent entry point to a figure worth knowing deeply.
