This is a cozy, nostalgic love story set on a 1960s West Virginia farm, and Carl Parsons clearly knows this world from the inside. It's a slow burn, though, more about savoring small-town rhythms than racing through plot, so go in patient. I couldn't find much outside reviewing to back it up beyond one indie notice, so treat this as a gentle maybe rather than a must-read.
