Self-help ✦ Penny’s Take
Longevity and Evolution

Gustavo Barja is a legitimate researcher and this is a serious academic treatment of mitochondrial aging — if you work in gerontology or evolutionary biology, it carries real authority. But it is a 194-page specialist monograph with no mainstream critical footprint and technical density that will shut out anyone outside graduate-level biology. Solid within its narrow lane, but most readers have no business here.
