Evie's digital-detox meltdown is a fun, relatable premise and the humor lands for plenty of readers, but Kirkus wasn't wrong that the supporting cast — meddling grandma, handsome doctor, aging-hippie aunt — leans hard on familiar chick-lit stock types. It's a pleasant enough listen if you want light rom-com, just don't expect it to break new ground. Marguerite Gavin's narration is the real bright spot here, drawing on hundreds of audiobook credits.
