Within its intended audience — dedicated Kadampa practitioners already grounded in Buddhist doctrine — this is a clear, systematic guide by a recognized teaching authority. But that audience is very narrow, and the book assumes religious commitment and fluency that most general readers will not have. Faith-conscious families from other traditions should be aware this presents Buddhist Tantric doctrine as truth, not philosophy. For the right meditator, it has real value; for most readers, it is inaccessible.
