This 1977 Longman textbook did its job well as a structured classroom companion for decades, and the 290-page illustrated format made Greek and Roman myths accessible to high school and undergraduate students. But it is now largely out of print, the academic framework has been eclipsed by more current scholarship, and there is no independent critical interest to justify hunting it down. Modern readers have better options.
