New Traditions in Business

Willis W. Harman · 1992

👎 Skip It

As an early document of the conscious capitalism and workplace spirituality movements, this 1992 anthology has genuine historical interest — Peter Senge and Willis Harman are serious thinkers, and the ecological and values-based framing was ahead of its moment. But the eclectic spirituality will not satisfy readers seeking either rigorous secular frameworks or explicitly faith-grounded ones, and some essays have dated poorly in their optimism. Worth reading for organizational history buffs; others should look for more current treatments of the same terrain.
