The Nutrition Almanac has served health-conscious lay readers faithfully across six editions and several decades, and the food-composition tables remain its most reliable section. But the 2007 sixth edition is now nearly twenty years old, the layout change that upset longtime users was a real downgrade in navigability, and the therapeutic supplement claims are inconsistently evidence-based even by the standards of their time. For a current quick-reference, more up-to-date options exist.
