Livingstone and Blum-Ross bring genuine research muscle to a topic drowning in opinion and panic — 73 in-depth family interviews and a 2,000-parent survey is a real foundation, and the three-orientation framework they develop is genuinely useful for parents trying to figure out where they land on the screen-time debate. The UK-only sample is a real limitation, but the questions it raises translate. This is one of the few digital-parenting books that doesn't start from a predetermined alarm and work backward.
