Self-help β¦ Penny’s Take
Practical Knowledge
Kieran Setiya Β· 2017
80/100
π Worth It
Setiya's collected essays hold together unusually well for a compilation, and the new introduction earns its place by tying twelve papers into a coherent argument about intentional action and the limits of ethical rationalism. MIT pedigree and OUP's Oxford Moral Theory series confirm this is operating at the front of the field. Strictly for academic philosophers, but within that audience it is a real contribution.
