Reading Group Choices

This is a functional reference tool — a 2008 annual curation guide distributed to libraries and bookstores to help book clubs find discussion-worthy titles — and on that narrow measure it does its job reliably. As a standalone purchase it makes little sense: the individual titles it recommends (Eat Pray Love, Three Cups of Tea) are fully accessible through other discovery channels, and the guide itself carries no narrative, argument, or content of its own. The content to evaluate is elsewhere; this is the index, not the book.
