An inheritance tangled up with a vengeful rival and old secrets gives this trilogy closer more spark than a straight romance, and Eicher's own Amish/Mennonite upbringing shows in the details. Still, it's the third of three books with nothing published reviewing it directly, so I'm reading the premise more than a verified result.
