Rediscovering Christian Realism

James E. Hassell · 2022
66/100
👎 Skip It

Hassell does something genuinely useful by bringing the Niebuhr tradition down to a readable 92 pages for lay Christian leaders — this fills a real shelf gap. But at under 100 pages and with thin distribution, it reads more like an extended essay than a fully developed book, and those outside Baptist or mainline Protestant contexts may find the traditions it draws on unfamiliar.
