Seabreeze Book Club delivers exactly what a million-copy beach-read series promises: warm coastal atmosphere, second-chance romance, and no unpleasant surprises. The problem is that 'exactly what it promises' is also its ceiling — there is no narrative tension worth speaking of, and newcomers will miss the series setup. Reliable comfort fiction for existing fans, but it does not earn a fresh reader's time.
