Self-help β¦ Penny’s Take
Self-esteem for Boys
Elizabeth Hartley-Brewer Β· 2000
62/100
π Skip It
Hartley-Brewer is a credible author and the 100-tip format is genuinely easy to navigate for busy parents. The 2000 publication date is a real problem in a field where developmental understanding has moved considerably, and the reader feedback that the tips skew toward one particular type of boy undercuts the universal promise of the title. Worth a look for parents of traditionally boisterous boys, but not a broad recommendation.
