Finance ✦ Penny’s Take
Simply Managing
Henry Mintzberg · 2013
84/100
👍 Worth It
Mintzberg's central argument — that real management looks almost nothing like what business schools teach — is backed by direct observation of twenty-nine real managers, and the paradoxes chapter alone is worth the price of the book for anyone trying to lead in ambiguous conditions. As a condensed version of Managing it sacrifices some depth, but the leaner format is probably an advantage for working practitioners.
