Self-help ✦ Penny’s Take
Social Psychology
Saul Kassin · 2007
80/100
👍 Worth It
The Kassin-Fein-Markus text earned its wide adoption — it balances scientific rigor with genuine readability in a way most social psychology textbooks don't manage, and Markus's cultural psychology contributions gave the 7th edition real depth. The 2007 publication date matters: later editions and competing texts have overtaken it in currency, so it's best for background reading rather than active coursework. Still an impressive piece of textbook craft.
