This is genuinely excellent at what it is — an NPR insider's craft manual built on 80+ staff interviews, published by University of Chicago Press, with a timely new chapter on journalist safety. It's just not an adulting title at all, so on this shelf and for this general audience it's a mismatch despite the real quality underneath.
