👍 Worth It

Simon Sinek's core argument is clean and memorable: the most inspiring leaders and organizations communicate from purpose outward — Why, then How, then What — rather than starting with products and hoping meaning follows. His TED Talk distilled it memorably; the book expands it with case studies from Apple, Martin Luther King Jr., and the Wright Brothers that make the framework feel concrete. The concept of purpose-driven leadership aligns naturally with faith-based ideas about calling and meaning. The honest caveat is that the Golden Circle rests more on compelling anecdote than rigorous research, the biological claims about the limbic brain are oversimplified, and the book repeats itself in ways a tighter edit would have caught. Even so, the core idea is genuinely useful and broadly applicable well beyond business. A solid and readable leadership primer.
