A well-structured undergraduate textbook that earns its place in health psychology courses — the integration of positive psychology alongside the usual stress-disease models is genuinely valuable, and Harrington writes clearly for students. But it's priced and formatted as a textbook, which puts a hard ceiling on its value for general readers who'd be better served by something like Sapolsky or Palmer.
