The intellectual ambition here sets it apart from typical self-help — drawing on organizational research and psychology to challenge lifestyle-balance clichés is a more honest approach than most titles in the genre. But a 1997 Australian niche publication with almost no modern footprint is very hard to recommend: you cannot easily find it, and whatever 'new science' framing felt fresh then has largely been absorbed into mainstream psychology writing. The curiosity exceeds the availability.
