Taking Responsibility for Children

This is rigorous academic philosophy and it does what it sets out to do — bring together serious scholars to examine the moral and political dimensions of adult obligations to children. Outside that narrow academic readership it has almost no audience, and some of the policy positions (parent licensing, government roles in religious education) will sit uncomfortably with readers who hold traditional family values. Worth knowing exists if you're in the field; not a general recommendation.
