Self-help ✦ Penny’s Take
Task Design and Employee Motivation
Ramon J. Aldag · 1979

Aldag and Brief's 1979 volume made a genuine contribution to organizational behavior scholarship and is still cited in the field — that's real intellectual legacy. But forty-seven years of subsequent research have substantially refined everything it proposed, and for anyone outside a business school library it offers almost no accessible value. A significant historical text that has served its purpose.
